Home to one of the world's largest biotech hubs, thriving technology and research sectors, and miles of iconic coastline, San Diego offers visitors an experience unlike any other major U.S. city. A destination that seamlessly blends opportunity and inspiration, attracting business travelers, convention attendees, entrepreneurs, and leisure visitors alike.
The purpose of this campaign was to increase inbound travel to San Diego by showcasing the city's unique combination of world-class innovation, economic opportunity, and Southern California lifestyle.
THE ASK
Created campaign visual, along with guerrilla marketing
strategy featuring custom surfboard art installations placed
in airport baggage claim areas across the U.S., driving awareness
and engagement among travelers.
Designed animated videos which were showcased throughout all airport terminals and on board flight screens.
Strengthened perception of SAN as a convenient gateway
to both domestic and international travel, driving significant traffic to SAN.org destination and route-planning pages.Created campaign visual, along with guerrilla marketing strategy that utilizes surf board art installation at luggage claim.
Increased awareness of San Diego International Airport's nonstop destination network among regional travelers.
